Support and Sponsorship

The following companies provide support to the EMCIS Program.

MineARC has donated a $70,000 Mine Refuge Chamber to Colorado School of Mines for training and use at the Edgar Mine.
Drager Safety has donated six rebreathers and support equipment including ice molds, valued at $60,000 for use in training at the Edgar Mine.
Freeport McMoRan – Henderson Operations provides continuous professional mentorship and assistance to the EMCIS Program.
DXP has donated eight BG-4 rebreathers plus parts used to repair the existing rebreathers. DXP has provided continuous professional mentorship and assistance to the EMCIS Program, and to the Colorado School of Mines Student Mine Rescue Team.
Jack Kennedy has donated a Mine Refuge Chamber to Colorado School of Mines for EMCIS training and use at the Edgar Mine.
Paratech Inc. has donated heavy lift airbags and struts for use in safety training and emergency response.
Tyco Fire and Security donated 20 Ansul 20# ABC Cartridge Operated Fire Extinguishers at $550 each for a total donation of $11,000.
